Tour-guide
Responsible to guide the walking tour, giving all the correct historic, touristic and cultural information about São Paulo, according to the route, keeping the group safe, and offering a great and fun experience to everyone.
In Brazil, following the National Law, to work as a tour-guide it's necessary to have an official license as a tour-guide, given by the Cadastur (from the National Tourism Department).
To get this license as a tour-guide, you must take a specific course of Tour-Guide (lasts about 10 months), that is offered by a few Technical Schools (easy to find on Google) in every state in Brazil.
Guide-Assistant
Responsible to help the tour-guide during the walking tour, organizing the sign-up and the break, the pictures of the tour, keeping the group safe and comfort, and offering a great and fun experience to everyone.
Not necessary to have the official license as a tour-guide (from Cadastur) to work as a Assistant-guide, but better if have.
Requirements
. speak advanced English and Portuguese;
. is an official Brazilian Tour-Guide (with the license from Cadastur);
. has gratuated in a College/University;
. has already traveled abroad (better as a backpacker);
. communicative, extrovert, polite;
. funny, energetic, open-minded;
. responsible, professional, ponctual, honest;
. love traveling and meeting new people.
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (2x a month)
Saturdays and Sundays (3x a month)
